Life Story for Hilda QUINN - GRAY

QUINN-GRAY, Hilda Born in Durham,
England in 1930 and passed away
peacefully at home in Newmarket on
Saturday, March 4, 2006. Loving wife of
the late Gordon Gray (2003) and the late
John Quinn (1993). A beloved mother
and grandmother, she is
survived by sons John (Cathy) of
Newmarket and Steve (Sue) of Caledonia
and her grandchildren Eamon, Evan, John,
Ashley, Connor, Bobby, Bobby and
Keegan. Hilda leaves behind her brother
Peter (Anne) and sisters Ruth (Ted) and
Margaret (late Eamon) of England. Hilda
graduated as a registered nurse in England
in 1952. She arrived in Canada in 1957
and continued her nursing career at
Humber Memorial and Queensway General
Hospitals. She returned to school to train
as an occupational nurse and worked at
McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft for 12 years.
She retired in 1992. Friends may call at the
Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157
Main St. South, Newmarket for visitation on
Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral
service in the chapel on Wednesday at
11 a.m., followed by cremation. In lieu of
flowers, donations to the Canadian
Diabetes Association or the Kidney
Foundation would be appreciated.
