PADLEY, Ray – Surrounded by his loving family at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Friday August 21st, 2009, at 82 years of age. Ray Padley, husband of the late Gladys Muriel Padley and loving father of Carolynn Saunders and her husband Roger, Raymond Padley and his wife Marlene, Pat Padley and his wife Barbara, Sandy Ponting and her husband William Steed and Randy Padley and his wife Laura Clarke. Proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 7 brothers & sisters, and lovingly remembered by sister Jean Ridley and brother Norm Padley. His wisdom, guidance, friendship, calming patience & sense of humour will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South on Tuesday August 25th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 17955 Leslie St., Newmarket on Wednesday at 12 Noon, followed by interment at St. John’ Cemetery.
