BAKKENES, Margaret – Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on Saturday December 12, 2009, in her 79th year. Loving and cherished wife of 58 years of Anton Bakkenes. Supportive and nurturing mother of Amber Rabethge (nee Bakkenes) and Melissa and her husband Paul Rizzi. Kathleen, Brad, Jared, Jennifer, Joel and Tyler provided both the joy in their Oma’s heart and the warmth in her eyes. Proud great grandmother of Erik. Sister of Christina Schotel, Elisabeth Berkhout and Ida Brockhus. Daughter of the late Wilhelmus and Ida Van Der Vossen.
