Condolence: Peter and David: It was with great sadness that I read the notice in the North Bay paper that your mother passed away. I have many fond memories of her. I remember dressing up our poor cat in doll clothes, and walking down Campbell Ave with the cat in the doll carriage to visit your Mom. And I especially remember visiting Renfrew (I think during Expo 67), when your Mom made us French toast. It was the first time I ever had it, and she kept making more and more pieces till I was full. My mother and I had a few short visits with her many years ago in Newmarket. I always enjoyed her hospitality and subtle east coast accent. I'm glad she was part of my life.

Condolence: Dear Peter and David; I was very sorry to hear from Mike Hetherington that Joan had died. She was a great favorite of mine and we always had fun and laughs at the Hetherington Reunions. It was a disappointment to us that they ended and we didn't get to visit again after the last one. As you probably know Ron died June l5 of this year. We will be having a sad Christmas this year won't we? I hope there was lots of music at her funeral, Joan loved her music and one time she and I went to have our palms read in Victoria and he read her hand and told her she was very musical, we were both so surprised he said that.
